DateClub is a social messaging and community platform developed and operated by SANKAVI SOLUTIONS. This Privacy Policy explains what information DateClub collects, how it is used and shared, and the choices available to users.

1. Information We Collect

Account information: full name, email address, date of birth, gender, city, state and country.
Profile information: username, bio, interests, skills and profile photo, where provided.
User content and activity: messages, photos or videos you choose to send, community posts, likes, comments, friend/connections information, group participation and private-album access information.
Subscription and transaction information: premium subscription status, purchase-related identifiers and subscription expiry information. Payments made through Google Play are processed by Google Play; DateClub does not receive or store your full payment-card details.
Usage and technical information: information generated when you use the app, including diagnostic, crash and security information and device/service information provided by the platform or service providers.

2. How We Use Information

To create, authenticate and manage your account.
To provide messaging, profiles, groups, community and social features.
To store and deliver content that you choose to upload or send.
To process and verify premium subscriptions purchased through Google Play Billing.
To send service-related notifications and important account updates.
To maintain security, prevent fraud and abuse, troubleshoot problems and improve the service.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may share or disclose information:

with service providers such as Google Firebase that provide authentication, database, storage and related infrastructure;
with Google Play and related Google services when necessary to provide and verify subscriptions or platform services; or
when required by law, legal process, security requirements or to protect users, our service or our rights.

4. User Content

Information and content you voluntarily place on profiles, community posts, groups or messages may be visible to the people or audiences for whom you provide it. Private-album content is controlled through the app's private-album access features.

5. Security

We use HTTPS/TLS for data transmitted between the app and our services, together with Firestore Security Rules and other access controls. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

6. Account Deactivation and Permanent Deletion

Deactivate Account: You can deactivate your account from within the app. The account is hidden from normal use and can be recovered by signing in again within 30 days. If it is not recovered within that period, our scheduled deletion process permanently removes the account and associated personal data.

Delete Account Permanently: You can also choose the permanent deletion option from within the app. After you confirm this option, DateClub permanently deletes your account and associated personal data through its account deletion process. This action cannot be undone.

If you cannot access the app, you may request account deletion by emailing support@dateclubapp.in. We will process the request in accordance with applicable requirements.

Some limited information may be retained where required or permitted for legitimate purposes such as legal compliance, fraud prevention, security, dispute resolution or other applicable obligations.

7. Retention

We retain information only for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, to provide the service, complete the deletion/recovery process, meet legal obligations, prevent abuse or fraud, resolve disputes and enforce our policies.

For safety, abuse prevention, and enforcement of our Terms and Community Guidelines, when DateClub permanently removes an account for a policy violation, we may retain a securely hashed account identifier for as long as reasonably necessary to prevent prohibited re-registration or address related safety issues. The hash is not a password and is not intended to be used to reconstruct the original email address.

8. Age Restriction

DateClub is intended only for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly permit users under 18 to use the service. If we discover an under-18 account, we will take appropriate action, including deletion where required.

9. Third-Party Services

Google Firebase – authentication, database, storage and related services.
Google Play Billing – premium subscription processing.
Google Play Services – Android platform services.

These providers may process information according to their own terms and privacy policies.

10. Your Choices and Rights

You can view and update profile information through the app.
You can deactivate or permanently delete your account through the app.
You can contact us about deletion, correction or privacy questions.

11. Policy Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last Updated" date above indicates when the policy was most recently changed.
